We’re closing out our annual Wear Your Costume to Dance Week with an adults-only evening filled with music, dancing, refreshments, creative costumes, and great company. Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:30–9:30 PM for another chance to laugh, connect, dance, and make memories with the Second Chance Dance community.

You do not need to be an experienced dancer—or a dancer at all—to enjoy the party. There will be no dance class, required choreography, or pressure to perform. Just come ready to move, mingle, and have a good time.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged. Space may be limited, and admission is not guaranteed without a ticket.

What to Expect

The Second Chance Dance Costume Party is designed to be a relaxed, welcoming celebration where adults can enjoy Halloween without needing to navigate a crowded nightclub or pretend they are too grown to dress up.

Throughout the evening, guests can expect:

• A fun, welcoming adults-only environment

• Time to connect with the SCD community
• Solo, pair, and group costume looks
• No required choreography or dance experience

Whether you have been dancing with SCD for years, recently attended your first class, or are being introduced to our community by a friend, you are welcome to join the celebration.

Choose Your Costume

A costume party, is not a costume party if you don’t come dressed in your most creative, fabulous, funny, classic, spooky, glamorous, or completely unexpected costume. Go all out with a head-to-toe transformation, keep it simple with a recognizable classic, coordinate a costume with your partner, or bring the whole crew together for a group theme. Solo costumes, couples’ costumes, and group costumes are all welcome. Costumes should allow you to move safely and comfortably throughout the evening. Please avoid anything that blocks your vision, creates a tripping hazard, includes dangerous accessories, or could interfere with another guest’s ability to enjoy the event. A costume is encouraged but not required. We would much rather have you join us without one than miss the costume party.

Who Can Attend?

This is an adults-only Halloween event for guests ages 18 and older. The Costume Party is open to current SCD dancers, returning dancers, friends, partners, and adults interested in experiencing the Second Chance Dance community. You do not need to attend SCD to come to the costume party. You also do not need dance training or a dance partner. Come alone and meet new people, purchase a pair ticket for you and a guest, or coordinate with friends for a full group costume.

Ticket Options

Individual Ticket — $20

Includes admission for one adult guest.

Pair Ticket — $30

Includes admission for two adult guests arriving together.

Each guest must be at least 18 years old. Select the ticket option that best fits your plans and complete your registration before the event.
