BEGINNER

Ballet

‘NEVER TOO LATE BALLET’ is a beginner focused ballet class. This class is perfect for learners who have never stepped foot into a formal dance school for dance training. In this class We learn basic ballet terminology, proper alignmemnt of the body, we focus on classroom etiquette, movement quality and the basics of ballet technique. Develop your skillset in traditional ballet dance elements in a non-competitive, fun environment. This class is designed for students to continue their developing knowledge of ballet terminology with slow and thorough exercises to ensure a better understanding of proper body placement and positioning.

BEGINNER

PBT

This class will introduce learners to the basic fundamentals of the Horton technique. The class will consist of studies to stretch and strengthen different areas of the body. Some of the exercises include flat backs, primitive squats, lateral stretches, release swings, leg swings, deep lunges, and T positions. Simple combinations are taught to introduce musicality and dynamics to the beginning dancer's vocabulary.

BEG-INTERMEDIATE

JAZZ

‘Never too early’ Ballet is the perfect class for those who already have an understanding of ballet terminology and who have taken a few classes in the past. This class expands on everything that has been taught in the NEVER TOO LATE ballet class. This class is designed for students to continue their developing knowledge of ballet terminology with slow and thorough exercises to ensure a better understanding of proper body placement and positioning. We continue to improve upon ballet terminology, proper alignmemnt of the body, we focus on classroom etiquette, movement quality. In addition we began to include flexibility, muscle development and longer dance sequences. Building on the skills and knowledge developed in Beginner Jazz Dance. Emphasis will be on refining dance technique and performance skills. This class is structured to improve proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing rhythms and patterns. The goal is to technically challenge the students while guiding them through a complex and intricate dance class. Class includes a proper warm-up, stretches, conditioning, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and center combinations.

BEG-INTERMEDIATE

Modern

Dancers with previous training will enjoy the transition into an intermediate level class. Students will progress at a quick yet comfortable pace while increasing strength and flexibility. Movement combinations are layered with multiple steps to refine and advance your dance technique. This class is an expansion of the Beginner modern Class. This class will introduce learners to the basic fundamentals of the Horton technique. The class will consist of studies to stretch and strengthen different areas of the body. OPEN LEVEL

Tap

This class is for those who have a desire to learn Tap skills. In class we will develop coordination and rhythmic ability, musicality and timing while ntroducing learners to basic tap steps, vocabulary, flexibility and control of the feet and balance.

Conditioning

This class will involve both standing exercises, seated exercises and floor work. This class is perfect for people getting back into exercise as well as people that want to focus on muscle strength, activating the core(back and abdominal muscles) and flexibility. These exercises are designed to lengthen and stretch muscles to provide progress in flexibility/range of motion, joint pain, strength and of course keep you healthy.

Stretch

This class will focus on deep stretching to increase flexibility. This class is perfect for dancers and those who enjoy the benefits of having a healthy body. This class will focus on alignment/proper form, flexibility, core and the use of mindful breathing.
